Our Story

Simply Sweeties began as a passion for baking and is on route to be a booming bakery business! Erika, the founder and amazing baker, began baking for her family at a young age and became the go-to baker for family events. Overtime, she was known as Sweets by Lady E — simply put: Sweeties.

Friends and family began recommending her tasty sweets and every taster was left wanting more. From there, Erika was then encouraged to take her baking to a new level, and start her business — Simply Sweeties. The focus is on creating the classic and old school sweets that Grandma used to make!

Erika has seen too many people in her community struggle with getting back on their feet from being incarcerated. Erika wanted to be intentional with why Simply Sweeties existed so our mission is:

To ensure that the comfort and joy of classic and old school sweets will never be forgotten and always appreciated by being a part of many moments that causes us to celebrate and supporting those that are re-entering into society with career development and employment at Simply Sweeties.
